I’m Deepanshi — a BITS Pilani graduate, published poetry author, and the founder-editor behind Lipsticks & Martinis.
L&M exists for the girl who wants more from life than being told to work harder, glow up faster, or fix herself in six steps. She wants beauty, structure, taste, softness, and self-respect — all in the same world.
So I built a magazine, a ritual ecosystem, and a brand universe that feels like an elder sister with better taste and better timing.
L&M was built from a very specific ache: the feeling of wanting your life to feel prettier, calmer, more structured, more deliberate — but not finding a space that treated those desires with seriousness.
Most spaces either become too clinical, too self-help coded, too productivity obsessed, or too shallow to hold any real emotional depth. L&M sits in the middle. It is editorial, useful, emotionally intelligent, and aesthetically intentional.
It is free because not every beautiful thing should begin with a paywall. First, she should be met. Then, if she stays, she can choose what part of the world she wants more of.

Before I built a magazine, I published a poetry book. It came from the same place L&M comes from now: overthinking, emotional honesty, softness, self-observation, and the urge to turn feeling into something beautiful and shareable.
The magazine is bigger and more strategic. But the voice — the part that wants girls to feel seen — started there.
